With ever accelerating technological advances and the world's
dependence on computer networks, the National Security Agency must
meet and overcome new and multifaceted challenges every day to
accomplish its cryptologic mission.
About the Program
To meet the emerging and complex needs, NSA has initiated a
development program for highly motivated and talented Engineers,
Computer Scientists, Physicists, Mathematicians and other related
professionals. This entry-level program develops technical skills
and integrates the application of computer science, electrical
engineering and mathematics for NSA's code making and code breaking
mission. Participants will be trained and prepared to support
NSA's vision of "global cryptologic dominance through national
network advantage."
Program Requirements
During this three year program, each participant will attend
training and complete rotational assignments to build skills in
specific mission-related competency areas supporting cryptanalysis.
Participants may take additional coursework directly related to a
rotational assignment, or to advance a specific technical
concentration. Program participants will have a unique opportunity
to develop extensive diversification while establishing
long-lasting professional contacts. As a member of the program
you are a full-time, salary earning employee. Upon conclusion of
the 3-year program, you will be placed in an office relating to the
