GA's Electromagnetic Systems (EMS) Division focuses on the military and commercial applications of advanced electromagnetic technologies, including power generation and distribution, magnetic levitation, and systems design and engineering. The EMS Division supports government customers, which include the Department of Defense, Department of Energy and the Department of Transportation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop and maintain code for PDM/Link 9.1 system to maintain smooth operations of multi-user computer systems related to DoD engineering projects


  • Determine user requirements and specifications and plan for software development at the organizational level to include end-user, system level, and data management application. Implement design to include

    Coding, testing, and documenting


  • Deploy applications across the enterprise including cross-platform compliance and ensure availability of necessary resources


  • Handle all aspects of code development and maintenance to keep pace with technological advancements and changes


  • Assist in planning for future applications based o new developments in computer technology


  • Observe all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations whenever and wherever business is conducted on behalf of the Company


  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices


  • Perform other related duties as required


  • May make recommendations to regarding hardware and software purchase


  • Perform other related duties as required

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
